Let's be honest - there's dozens of hosting companies out there and pretty much all of them have settled on the same tools and more or less the same level of pricing. What makes InMotion the absolute no brainer of a choice won't be until you're already a client. Their tech support and customer service department should be the high watermark to beat in the industry. Extremely patient and unbelievably accessible, I've thrown some wacky questions and migrations their way and am consistently satisfied with their professionalism, intelligible communication and follow thru.

I have used the live chat feature on several occasions and whenever anything is over my head, they walk me through it step by step, with patience, professionalism, and kindness. I cannot tell you how much that means to me--I am not the most tech savvy person out there, so I need a lot of hand holding at times.

My blog has been hosted with them for over a year and I've never experienced down time or had any kind of trouble on their end.

If you are looking for phenomenal customer, I say go with InMotion hosting. I know their tagline is "Webhosting that doesn't suck." I would change it to "Webhosting with customer service that ROCKS!"

For the money you pay (even their cheapest offers), you get a plethora of features and 24/7 technical support. They also let you upgrade your services and credit what you've already paid on your contract to the new upgraded one, in case you find the need to expand. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with them, and I will certainly be using them again in the future!

I currently use another host for my windows based hosting (only because Inmotion hosting does not yet provide this), and i pay almost as much for those 3 domains as i do for the business Pro plan with Inmotion hosting. I could only rate the categories of "Price Value," "Reliability," "Customer Service," and "Overall Satisfaction." I rated "Features" and "Ease of use" as "Good" simply because I have not actually developed my website and don't know how good the features are or how easy they are to use.

The greatest thing I think Inmotion has going for them is their high-end support team. I was relatively new to all if this 3 months ago and their customer support team helped me every step if the way. Don't get me wrong, they can't tell you what's wrong on line 656 of your Html code (although I believe some of them could) but any help you need from them on the server side or host they will hook you up. I currently have two sites hosted through this great company, and recently ran into a deadline issue where I need to register a domain asap. I told inmotion of this and within the hour it was registered. I can't say enough great things about Inmotion. They have packages that will fit any sites need and yours as well. I am and will continue to tell my clients to use Inmotion for their web hosting needs. I feel as though I will be a lifelong customer of inmotion. So go with them. You will not be sorry.

If I ever have a challenge, support is always kind. Occasionally they are not able to help (server problem, known issue, tech is working on it, can\'t give a time frame...). That is always frustrating in the moment, but they do what they can. I also wonder about several server changes I have had. I just chalk them up to InMotion making sure my files are on a machine that can keep up, or they are making upgrades, etc...hasn't been a problem other than small amounts of down time.

All of my websites, and all of my clients' websites are hosted at InMotion. Why? They have fantastic customer support. Their support is based in the US (Virginia and California), they all speak English, the techs all seem to know what they're talking about - I don't get the sense they are reading from script or computer prompts. Tech support will stay on the phone with you for as long as it takes to fix the problem and they are gentle with non-tech people. Pricing is comparable to other hosting providers with the added benefit of great customer service.

Before InMotionHosting, I spent quite a bit of time with companies that had at least 2 fatal flaws... 1 - Poor service AFTER the sale... 2 - a completely ineffective Support staff. 3 - Makes you feel like you were "taken" and is just plain exasperating. I've been with IMH for many years, have several accounts with them and have recommended them to many others (all of which have also remained as of this writing.) Not only are the prices excellent BUT the services offered are great and, the best part for me, the Support Staff is extremely knowledgeable and always acts in a professional manner. They know there business. I always feel that they "read" the user's level of understanding quite well (and quickly) and so we never have to spend a lot of time going through all of the obvious to resolve a problem. With other companies it seemed that they were just compelled to "go through the manual.... starting at page #1." With all of my accounts and through all of the years I have called upon the support group probably around a dozen times for all sorts of reasons (certainly *some* of which were self-inflicted!) And in each case the issue was resolved or the question responded to in very short order. If you're looking for dedicated or Virtual Private servers, or just a hosting site, IMH is the right choice.

We have three websites being hosted at the present time, and anytime I have a question or need to make a change the customer service staff and the technical staff have been right there for me. They walk me through all the steps necessary to make sure that it goes smoothly. I was a total novice when I began working with InMotion, didn't know the first thing about building a website.
